Mayor Sam Sullivan staff down to one

September 15th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Mayor Sullivan’s former chief of staff, Daniel Fontaine, is happily ensconced at the top of Burnaby Mountain working on something to do with math education as of August and now the second the mayor’s three staffers is moving on. Anna Lucarino sent out a message today saying she will be leaving Sept. 29 to go to Compton Fundraising Consultants.

“My primary role with Compton will be as the Campaign and Communications Manager for the National Maritime Centre for the Pacific and the Arctic. I am excited to be involved in this project, one that will serve as an interactive home for the region’s maritime history as well as for showcasing maritime events and activities.”

Compton lists the City of Vancouver as one of its clients. The maritime centre is the ambitious new building being planned for the North Vancouver waterfront, which former councillor Jennifer Clarke has been working on steadily with North Van for years.

That leaves only David Hurford on staff, but since he can write more news releases in an hour than any human alive, many people may never notice the gaps.
