It’s that time of year and I will disappear in about 30 minutes to the alternate universe of the Vancouver Folk Festival. I might tweet but definitely won’t be blogging or posting comments. I’ll catch up with everything Monday. As always, I’ll be one of those opting for less space and more density near the front of the stage, as opposed to the suburban tracts towards the back.

Knowing that you are the gourmand; and knowing that there will be interesting victuals of all sorts; and in keeping with the locale, I have but one suggestion for you to follow during your musical weekend:
Don’t eat the brown acid.

Don’t forget to wash well when you get home . . . . being surrounded for so long with all that progressive hypocrisy can cause serious skin problems.
To say nothing of the smell of the old hippies.
